There are so many questions when buying art, especially when buying art online. The answers to most of those questions are found here. Did not find the answer to your questions? No problem. call (314 325 6130) or email me! I will respond with in one business day but usually much sooner.

How do I search for art on the site?

There are several ways to search for art on our site. From the Gallery page, you can find a particular category of art, say landscapes, and click on that category to go to images of naturescapes on the site. Have a particular artist in mind? Click the artists tab in the navigation bar to view work by that artist. Interested in primarily photography or impressistic paintings or....? Hover over the photography or fine arts tabs in the navigation bar to find your particular interest.

We offer both giclee prints and original artwork.

What is a giclee print?

Giclee prints are higher quality than standard prints. They are printed using archival inks and substrates (paper, canvas or photo paper). They are produced from high resolution files that brings out details. Because of this, with proper care, your print will last without the often seen fading of standard prints.

How do I know my piece is original?

All artwork from the gallery will have a certificate of authenticity. The certificate of authenticity contains information about the piece such as if it is a print or an original, medium, size, title, and, if it is a giclee, the number of the print. It is also signed by the artist. 

How do I buy art on the site?

On any “product page” you can click Wall Preview and view the artwork displayed on a wall. Change the wall color, or change the room. This helps you get an idea of the scale of the work and the impact it makes in the space. Use the Wall Preview tool to visualize the art in your own home or office. Once you decide what piece(s) you like, click on the purchase link. We accept Master Card, Visa, and Paypal.

Can I get a customized piece of art?

Yes! Let us know what artist's style you particularly like and we will work with the artist to see if your commissioned piece is an option.

I found a piece(s) that I really like. Do I need to register an account?

No, you can choose to register or check out as a guest. 

Will the art look the same as on the site?

Actually, it will look better in person.  First, the images on the site are all professionally photographed to show true color. Second, the three dimensional piece and the substrate upon which is it made, be it a metal print or original oil, will always look better in person. 

What forms of payment does Confluence Art Gallery accept?

The Gallery accepts Master Card, Visa, Discover and Paypal.

Is tax charged?

Retail tax is charged only on pieces shipping to addresses in Missouri.

What are the shipping costs?

Shipping in the United States is free. International shipping is based upon actual cost and will be calculated to meet the needs of the piece. 

When will my art ship?

Your new art will ship within 5 business days from purchase. If there is any delay for any reason, you will receive an email to keep you up to date. Once shipped, you will receive an email with a tracking number, so that you will know when your package will arrive.

How will my art ship?

All artwork is packaged in sturdy packaging to insure safe delivery, whether it comes rolled up in a shipping tube or flat in a box. Artwork is shipped directly from the artist and is sent through a trackable, insured shipper. All artwork is shipped fully insured for its declared value. Please note, a signature is required for delivery unless you request that your art be delivered without a signature. In these cases, you assume responsibility for the art after it has been delivered.

What happens if there is damage in shipping?

Artwork is packaged very carefully to insure safe delivery, which makes receiving damaged merchandise a rare occurrence. If you do receive a damaged piece of art, contact us within three (3) days at pedsptedd@prodigy.net or call 314 325 6130. You must save the box and all of the packaging material; we must have these items in order to process the claim.

Confluence Gallery works directly with the shipping carrier to file a claim. When you contact us, please include your order number and photographs of the damaged artwork and packaging. We need these images to file the claim and process the refund. 

What is the gallery's return policy?

Things happen. If you are not satisfied with your purchase, you can return the piece within 7 days. If you choose to make a return, please call us at 314 325 6130 prior to shipping! This is important. 

How do I return a piece of art?

Please save all the packaging material your art came in. Repackage the art in its original box the way it was originally packaged and bring it to either a FedEx or UPS store and send it back to the return address on the package within seven (7) days. Since the artist ships the work, it is important that the work be returned to the correct address. Please make sure to insure the artwork for its declared value. Items must be returned via a trackable and insured shipping carrier. Contact us at pedsptedd@prodigy.net with your order number, the date it was shipped and your tracking number. Once we have received the artwork, we will issue you a refund on the price of the art. We will not issue a refund on the cost of the return shipping and insurance.
